I never thought this day would come.

Never again will I go to an all day fishing tournament with my friends. Woke up at 5 a.m. and was on the beach by 6:30. Stayed till 3 p.m.

Never. Again.

In other news:

I graduate from college this Saturday.

Marketing and Visual Communications are my only non-art classes this semester, and they are killing me. Literally.

Right now we’re working on our marketing plans. If you don’t know what a marketing plan is, it is basically a fifteen page paper outlining your business, brand, goals, etc. It is very repetitive, thorough, and frustrating. 

I’m about twenty seconds away from forcing my head through the wall.

It is currently 9:26 p.m.

8:30-2:30 was work.

2:30-5 was class.

5-? has been working on resumes, design competition entries, helping friends print and just rocking out to music in the mess room.

Nights like this make me love this place.

Spent the last three hours working on a “business” version of a self portrait and a “casual” version of a self portrait to go onto my design resume.

It’s actually a lot of fun and I hope my teacher really likes it (he is the one who suggested two portraits to show off my different personalities). I didn’t even realize I had been working so long till I looked up at the clock.

Financial aid meetings, writing my resume, ordering my business cards, and working on finalizing my portfolio today has left me with the biggest headache I’ve had all year.

Thank god I’m going back to the 302 tomorrow. Time to partayy!
